Bejewelled face masks, creepy and beautiful. Much more spangle than would normally expect of MMM but love the nicely mixed up textures. Is that a deconstructed inflatable life-vest? And the floor length silk bomber style coat is actually divine.

La Maison Champs Elysées
This year the Belgian avant-garde fashion house, Maison Martin Margiela, has moved into interior design. Their deconstructed, directional and witty fashion is some clue as to how they approached the redesign of 'la Maison Champs Elysses', the hotel in central Paris which they've entirely reworked.
Trompe l'ouiel walls, gigantic toadstools, geometric chairs, and all white rooms - it's quite an Alice in Wonderland effect. I have to say though, the rooms which are more minimalist just look bland - it's definitely the unexpected details and shapes which carry the appeal.
Maison Martin Margiela say: “The Maison is delighted to reinterpret another house as its first Paris hotel project. Maison Martin Margiela has created a dramatic world where reality and make-believe
seem to blend. The decor is like a succession of stage sets where references are mixed so as to create an unusual atmosphere where past and present jostle harmoniously.”
